Two weeks ago, when I first arrived in California i went to visit my friend in LA.  I had never really been to there before (besides when I was little, and Disneyland of course) so I was excited to travel around and do all the touristy things.  On our last day we drove to Venice Beach - it was amazing!  I fell in love with the great atmosphere, beautiful weather, cool shops and crazy people.  It was a cloudy day but the weather was still warm.  My friends and I strolled around the shops and I bought a few souvenirs to remember my visit.  Hope you enjoy the photos, and don't forget to leave a comment:)

Yesterday I went thrift shopping on Haight street in San Francisco.  It was a cold day as usual, so I wore a scarf and sweater for the first time in months:( These boots are my obsession! They are from BDG, I bought them at Urban Outfitters last week.  I was going for a more low key, hobo feel -trying to blend in with the homeless people ;) Although I did wear red lipstick.

Went out to lunch with my mom yesterday, and we decided to bring the dog with us.  I wore this outfit for a sunny day.  The top is from my friend who bought me as a gift for taking care of her cat.  What a great gift! And how cute is my dog, right? His name is Toffee<3

These are older photos I had from last month where I was in Tel Aviv this August.  It is unbearably hot during the summer months and the only thing you can pretty much wear is shorts and a tank top.  There is not much variation, so I decided to make it a more 70s theme with a neutral brown palette. Red lipstick and hoop earrings really made me feel like I was going to a disco in the middle of the day. Haha, why not?

I took a silkscreening class last year and made this pineapple print, so i printed it onto black fabric and made it into a tank top.  It's actually a lot easier than it looks.  I made a few other prints and I will post the photos on here next time.  I'm wearing shorts from Aritzia and vintage sneakers that my mom had in the 80s.  

I was on the bus in Tel Aviv and I saw this girl walking down the street with a short grey dress, and it looked so cute yet simple, and i thought to myself, how easy is this to make on my own? So I went with my friend to the fabric store and we bought this cheap jersey fabric and sewed this dress X2 all in one morning. So great:) I love my sewing machine.
