On a bright and sunny day on Bugrashov street in Tel Aviv, I spotted this girl walking with her boyfriend, or friend ;), and she instantly caught my eye. Denim skirts are definitely trending lately, I've seen them around a lot. So are Birkenstocks, although that is a trend I choose not to follow- it feels lazy to me! Her t-shirt is awesome, I love any sort of printed tee, and especially paired with the feminine denim mini skirt makes everything work perfectly together. Then can we talk about her bag? I have nothing to say.. Well, I made a lovely collage of some of my favorite denim skirts out there, for anyone who feels inspired to own one, it can really give you that retro, effortless, 90s look that I love so much. Thanks for reading! And don't forget to leave a commend in the comments section :)

I
I met Maya walking through Kikar Rabin in Tel Aviv- and immediately spotted her amazing style. Her dress, from American Apparel, is one that I've been seeing everywhere. I was just at the store earlier that day and wanted to get the checkered one, but put it off for another day.
While I was doing this post, I came upon the website for Juju shoes- where Maya got her sandals from. Can we talk about those sandals! I'm not sure exactly where they sell them in Israel but they have a website based in the UK (www.jujushoes.co.uk) and I instantly fell in love with their Tumblr. They post photos from other people/brands/models wearing their shoes and you just start getting all of these great ideas of what to wear them with- so inspirational <3 So fittingly I made you all a collage of some of my favorite photos, all from Juju shoes' Tumblr. Now after you read this you will go out and buy a pair...because I know I will! How would you wear them? Dont forget to leave a comment below:)

How would you describe your style?
My style tends to change depending on the time of the year. During school I'm usually channel I hybrid of schoolgirl/grandma/victorian. I love classic and British style, trench coats, collars, Chelsea boots and striped tops. In the summer I'm more relaxed victorian I'd say, white dresses and tops everyday.
Who are some of your favorite bloggers?
The only blogger I follow is Man Repeller because she is hilarious and knows the value of a good crop top.
It is getting to be the hottest months in Tel Aviv, how do you dress for the weather?
Tel Aviv is pretty casual, so I'll wear either light weight white or printed dresses and black sandals or jean shorts (jorts) with t-shirts or white peasant tops. White is key in hot climates to reflect the sun! Sometimes I just use a vintage bathing suit top as a shirt.
If someone had to draw you as a cartoon, what would be your outfit?
White button down with a vicar collar under, navy cashmere sweater, black skinny jeans or jean shorts. Oh, and one of my vintage coach bags.
A fashion rule you never break:
Comfort is key!!
What kind of things do you tend to splurge on?
Shoes, if my feet aren't happy I'm not happy. I don't buy them often so when i do they are always black and durable so they go with anything and I get the most bang for my buck.
What are some of your favorite places to shop?
I love vintage shopping. There are some great spots in Tel Aviv like Flashback, Aderet, and HaMachteret. The side streets off the Carmel market also boast some great finds as does the Friday antique market at Dizengoff Center Square. In Toronto I love Courage my Love in Kensington and Black Market (everything is ten dallah!)

I met Jemma last Friday on a busy day walking down King George in Tel Aviv. Out of everyone on the street she stood out to me because despite the blistering heat, she looked so stylish and seemed so cool and collected! Jemma is from Canada and is also a blogger- the link to her blog can be found here. Or ( http://www.neoraphaelite.wordpress.com). She was kind enough to let me ask her a few questions about her amazing style and give us some style tips in a short interview. Don't forget to visit her blog and leave a comment below:)

Ester is also a shop owner at the vintage market in Tel Aviv - I met her last Friday when I was shopping around. I immediately spotted her because of her long hair and bohemian style- I instantly fell in love. She wore a plain crop top, printed maxi skirt, and stacked colorful necklaces, creating a cool and effortless look.
Maxi skirts are my new favorite item this summer because they are so easy to wear in the heat instead of wearing skin bearing short shorts and feeling like a girl in high school! My favorite brand for a boho style skirt is of course Free People. Not only does their stuff look amazing but its great quality, including the fabrics that they use and the way their stuff is sewn. Their clothes are a bit pricy but if you really like something its worth it- especially if its on sale ;) So in the spirit of bohemian style I added a few examples of my favorite maxi skirts from Free People, you can check out their website and find many more- and don't forget to leave a comment! :)
